Chances are, if you're reading this, you have a real estate story (or two) to tell.
Chances are even better that you’re here now because you’re beginning your next story…
You've looked at countless websites, seen a sea of highly suspect headshots (Aquanet anyone?) and they are all starting to blend together.
You’re still not sure what to do. The whole process can be confusing and overwhelming.
Where do you start?
Who do you call?
So many agents making so many promises: great service; smooth transactions; perfect homes.
It's exhausting, I know.
I'm Kim Wennerberg, and I've spent nearly two decades helping people sort through and simplify an often overwhelming and stressful process.
(My own real estate story involves banjos, bizarre shower design ideas and some questionable marketing decisions when I started nearly 20 years ago. Don’t judge.)
I have deep ties to Walton County and the people that I serve. This is where those local “connections” I often talk about come into play:
Like who to call when your dog eats chocolate. (Not that Iwould know anything about that.)
Or how to properly order a steerburger at Ed’s Tastee Freeze. (I did it wrong for years...)
What if you could work with someone who...
Whether you were referred, like more than 90 percent of my clients, or just happened to pop in for a visit, let me tell you a little about working with me...
-I help my clients succeed by giving them my very best and asking them to give the same.
-I provide expertise and ask my clients to trust my process, because my reputation and results speak for themselves.
-I seek excellence in every detail, because small details tend to snowball into big ones.
-I understand that real estate is much more than just an MLS listing and a sign. (You'd be amazed at the hard work we'll do before the house even hits the market!)
I'm less concerned with getting a deal done and more focused on meeting your needs and goals. I value the client over the transaction, and my goal is to conduct business in such a way that Kim & Company speaks for itself. Or, more accurately, that my clients speak for me.
If my daddy taught me anything, reputation is everything. His reputation was - and still is - one of excellence, integrity and putting others first. He didn’t merely teach that – he showed it in how he lived.
My clients know I've worked hard to build my reputation, and they trust me to handle every detail. And if you haven’t picked up on it yet… while I take my professional responsibilities quite seriously, we are still going to try to have some fun together. Finding humor and some belly laughs along the way is (besides prayer) the best way to get through it!
I began my career as a Realtor in 1998, largely because I didn't have any idea what I wanted to be when I grew up. What I did have, however, was access to amazing mentors in the real estate industry, and a knowing that this was where God was leading me.
Working in sales never appealed to me, but I quickly figured out that real estate was less about houses and sales – and more about people, which made it a perfect fit. Fast forward to now, and I have spent the last 19 years working throughout the Emerald Coast: inland to the beaches.
I have experience both professionally and personally with real estate investing, combining my love of design and all things beautiful with my love of real estate.
Over the years, I’ve been active in my community as a member of the Walton County Planning Board, the Florida Chautauqua Board, Chairperson of the DeFuniak Springs Area Council and most recently, serving as a member of the Walton County Planning & Zoning Board.
Being born in DeFuniak Springs, I love my hometown and the people in it. I'm looking forward to connecting with you in my little corner of the world.
